We're Ready for K2
In an effort to tire out our precious pumpernickel, we've been taking daily outings to parks and museums and whatnot. We decided a few days ago to check out the local state park. The staff was very (overly?) friendly (they probably hadn't had visitors all summer long) and took quite a bit of time to show us the trails and paths. Overly Friendly Park Ranger Guy insisted that a five year old could take on most of their hiking trails.

what a view! i love daily outings like these, and boy are your trails so much more inspiring than our usual tromp around the neighborhood. i might have to ferret out some hiking paths 'round these parts.
